Participation Disclaimer & Event Terms

By attending and participating in any Winter Run Club (WRC) Saturday morning run or related activity (the “Event”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk
Participation in WRC events is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. Running, like all physical activity, carries inherent risks including but not limited to slips, falls, dehydration, injury, or interaction with vehicles, animals, or other individuals. By attending, you confirm that you are physically fit, in good health, and capable of participating in group runs over public terrain.

Personal Responsibility
You are solely responsible for monitoring your own physical condition and ensuring that you run at a pace and intensity suitable for your fitness level. If you feel unwell at any point, it is your responsibility to stop and seek assistance.

No Liability
Winter Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, event partners, collaborators, or associated businesses accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or incident arising out of your participation. This includes incidents involving personal injury, property loss, medical emergencies, or third-party interactions during or after the Event.

Traffic & Public Safety
WRC events often take place on open public roads, parks, or shared pathways. There are no road closures or traffic marshals. It is your responsibility to follow the rules of the road, remain aware of your surroundings, and exercise caution at all times.

Weather & Environmental Conditions
Events proceed regardless of weather conditions unless explicitly postponed or cancelled. You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and gear suited to the conditions.

Minors & Guests
If you bring a guest or minor to a WRC event, you accept full responsibility for their participation and behavior. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Media Use & Consent
WRC often captures photos or videos at events for social media and promotional purposes. By attending, you grant WRC permission to use your image, name, and likeness without compensation. If you wish not to be photographed, please notify the organizers in advance.

No Medical Services Provided
WRC does not provide on-site medical services. In case of an emergency, local emergency services will need to be contacted, and any costs incurred will be your responsibility.

Agreement to Terms
By attending a WRC event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms. You release and discharge Winter Run Club and all associated parties from any liability related to your participation.
